Billboard.com

The website I visited was Billboard.com. The purpose of this site is to bring us all the up to date information on the music industry. This sight is put up by Nielsen Business Media Inc, and I believe that it is put up for those people looking into what is happening in the music industry. I think that it is probably more set up for those people who are teens and twenties. Although it is probably focused towards the fore said age groups I believe that this site is maneuverable for almost anyone who happens to stumble across the page. Not only does this sight keep us up to date on what the top songs are in the country they also have other pages designated to videos, music, interviews, and reviews of recent music just to name a few. The site is very relaxed in nature it is easy to look at and doesn’t have a lot of reading involved. All of the links are very self explanatory and to the point . I believe that the main rhetorical appeal is pathos being that most visitors are of a younger age it is very appealing with the videos and all of the today style of music.

I have never heard of this website before. It seems to be very interesting! Everyone seems to enjoy music these days and its become a huge form of entertainment. You mentioned the website being very relaxed and easy to look at, do you consider this the tone? Also, what kinds of objects of emotion such as ideas, symbols, and words on this website lead you to believe the rhetorical appeal is pathos?
